Initially, the owner of this condominium wanted  a tropical/resort concept for his house. He also specifically requested for a shoe-cabinet with display shelves, wooden beams on the ceiling of the living area, and a study room with sliding glass doors. A canopy bed and a large dining table were additionally suggested as the feature pieces of the rooms.

After the first meeting where the initial visuals were presented, the owner changed his mind about the mood and overall colour scheme. Consequently, adjustments were made by removing the darker wood elements; opting to incorporate fabric-textured laminates and bright accents of colour to makes the space more friendly and less serious.
